Agents, welcome to Project: Teyvat, a for-profit Genshin Impact fanzine. Our zine will traverse an alternate version of Teyvat where technological advancements have soared ahead and our beloved Traveler and their friends live in a world of robots, cyborgs and aliens. We’ll be soaring through the galaxy, and we hope you join us for the journey!
FAQ
What is a zine?
A zine is a small-circulation self-published work of original texts or images, usually reproduced via a copy machine. Zines are the product of either a single person or a small group.
What counts as science fiction? Does (franchise/topic) count?
Science fiction is a genre of speculative fiction that typically deals with imaginative and futuristic concepts such as advanced science and technology, space exploration, time travel, parallel universes, and extraterrestrial life. If you’re unsure if your idea counts, feel free to contact a mod!
Will ships/gore/nsfw be allowed?
Ships will be allowed, however, the ship should not be the main focus of the piece.
Gore will be allowed so long that it is PG-13 and not overly graphic.
NSFW will not be allowed.
Where will the profits go?
We aim to provide contributors with a free copy of the zine, and if profits allow it, a full bundle.
The remaining profits will go to compensate our contributors and mods for their efforts!
Do I need prior experience to participate?
No prior experience is necessary to participate! Anyone with a love for Genshin Impact and Sci-fi is welcome.
What compensation will the contributors receive?
We hope to provide contributors with a free physical copy of the zine, as well as merch if profits allow it. After that, any remaining profits will be split among the contributors and moderators.
